This is particularly interesting in light of strategy, business process and how we might react (or...should be reacting now) to this "new normal" post the pandemic. I'm struck with how businesses might pivot to this new economy and the continued challenges to brick-and-mortar strategies to engage consumers. There are also material impacts to the nonprofit sector and how this "new normal" might push them. I believe philanthropy and donor engagment will look completely different post Covid-19 (and I think this is a good thing) - nonprofits that pivot will continue to meet mission and expand service. I also think there are some interesting perspectives and considerations for the local church and how they might react and behave differently. So much resource has gone into facilities, grounds and large staffs - maybe this new normal is going to push the "faith community" to rethink their model and how they might engage smaller groups of people in a much different format.
Whatever this McKinsey report stirs within you - I hope you are well and I look forward to catching coffee in the near future (maybe much differently than we have in the past) - be thinking how your organization should pivot to this new normal.
